Trying to fade slowly....
by nemo ini am trying to fade slowly, but am finding this increasingly difficult.
i can't sit through a meeting, i had to leave at the 1/2 the other day, because of my recent enlightenment, the hypocrisy is to much for me to take.
as i left you could see the looks on people faces, "oh she's just not spritual enough".

I'm going through the same experience as you. Trying to fade slowly, but it's becoming impossible! I'm very close to making a break soon.
Forget the husband and my relatives that can't deal with it! I certainly can't deal with being in it much longer!!!

Going back to school...
by CeriseRose inwell, i've started back to university, which had gotten a little sidelined by my jw experience.
about 15 years ago i'd done a few semesters of college, but really didn't know what i wanted to do in life.
i went to business college, entered the workforce, and right about the time i was going to go back to school, was brought into the jws by a coworker.

I'm starting to think about going back to school myself. The JWs made me give up my dream of a bachelor's degree back in the early 80s because "why would anyone need any more schooling other than a HS diploma since the New System is soooooo close?" Bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm starting to look into universities in my area.

Thanks to all for your thoughts.
Reading your posts has helped me realize I'm not alone in this reasoning that the Almighty creator has much to do with our problems here on earth. And us humans are so impotent to this fact.
Every so often I remember a sentence posted in a thread a little while back that went something like "The already established kingdom of God which has done nothing at all for mankind".
